PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the radio selective calling receiver with display by which a carrying person can clearly distinguish messages whose information contents are confirmed from messages whose contents are not yet confirmed. SOLUTION: A control section 2 flickers an unconfirmed symbol (A41) denoting an unconfirmed message in the case that a newly received message is stored to a storage circuit 3 and a stored message is read and displayed on a display output section 4. Furthermore, in the case that the operator does not push a switch 5 even after the lapse of a prescribed time, automatic notice stop information is set to an automatic notice stop information storage section (A31) of the storage circuit 3 and the message storage section stores the message with unconfirmed attribute. Then in the case of displaying the message not confirmed on the display output section 4 again, since the message is displayed while the unconfirmed message is flickered, the confirmed messages are easily distinguished from unconfirmed messages.
