PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of overflow and also to prevent occurrence of waveform distortion of an analog signal to be outputted by providing an overflow detector that resets a delay unit when the digital signals added together by an adder overflow a prescribed bit. SOLUTION: A digital signal of plural bits is inputted to an input terminal 1 and converted into a pulse by an quantizer 4 via adders 2a and 2b and an overflow detector 9. The detector 9 directly transmits the signal which is outputted from an adder 2b when it does not overflow a prescribed number of bits and then outputs the reset signals to the delay units 3a and 3b to clear the data stored in these delay units when the signal outputted from the adder 2b overflows the prescribed number of bits. The digital signal which passed through the detector 9 is branched out at a branching point Y, sent to the unit 3b to be delayed there and then returned to the unit 2b to be added to next digital signal.
