PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convergence adjustment method for making convergence adjustment in stack projection easier by adjusting convergence between plural projection pictures on the basis of an overlap condition of patterns projected by plural projection display devices. SOLUTION: A projection display device 1 on a lower side is made to normally project a white crosshatch pattern on a black background and a projection display device 2 on an upper side is made to cyclically project the crosshatch pattern and all black pattern in turn. An operator has shift of a projection lens 12 in a vertical direction coincide a screen center so that a flash crosshatch pattern is laid over a continuous crosshatch pattern while looking at a pattern picture projected on a screen. Then, it is possible to easily perform convergence adjustment by adjusting a horizontal tilt angle of the projected picture by adjustment of the tilt angle in a screen horizontal direction of the projection display device 2.
