摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate the regeneration damping force of an electric motor to the maximum by comparing a regeneration damping force BM with a requested damping force B, causing B to be generated only by the electric motor when BM>=B, and allowing the electric motor to generate BM when BM<B, and at the same time covering the shortage with the damping force of a braking device. SOLUTION: While a requested damping force B according to the amount of operation of a brake is satisfied and at the same time, an excessive power feed to a battery 5 is prevented, a regeneration damping force BM of an electric motor 7 can be generated to a maximum in the tolerance of the battery 5. Also, since a damping force exceeding BF which is the required minimum operates for a front wheel side, the operational stability of a vehicle is proper, even when a required damping force BO is generated only by the electric motor 7. Also, pressure proportional control valves 22a and 22b may be changed to those with only electromagnetic pilot operation part, thus detecting the amount of control of a brake using a pedal opening sensor and controlling pressure proportional valves 22a and 22b, so that the requested damping force B is covered by the damping force of the brake chambers 24a and 24b at the front/rear wheel side.
