PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain stable quantity of light for a long time by arranging a plurality of surface luminescent type light emitting element main bodies constituting an LED, tightly in a matrix form on a printed circuit board, introducing light emitted from each of the light emitting element main bodies to one or more optical fiber, and sticking a heat sink on the backside of the circuit board. SOLUTION: In a light source, a plurality of light emitting element bodies 1 constituting an LED are mounted in a matrix form on the surface of a printed circuit board. As the light emitting element body 1, a surface luminescent type one is used. On the back-side of the printed circuit board 5, a heat sink is stuck for heat radiation. To each of the light emitting element bodies 1, a single optical fiber 2 is connected, respectively. Specifically a light introducing end of the optical fiber 2 is stuck to the light emitting face in the light emitting element body 1 via a translucent adhesive resin 4. The respective optical fibers 2 are bundled together inside a device body so as to be extended to the outside as an optical fiber bundle 3. |
