PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain adhesion and lubricity and to ensure good running performance and durability by holding a lubricant contg. a compd. of a bifunctional perfluoro-polyether and an amine, and a long chain satd. fatty acid ester in a protective film as the outermost lever. SOLUTION: A magnetic layer 2 comprising a ferromagnetic metallic material contg. an alloy such as Co-Ni, Co-Pt, Co-Ni-Pt, Fe-Co or Fe-Ni besides a metal such as Fe, Co or Ni is formed on a nonmagnetic substrate 1 comprising a polyester or a polyolefin and a lubricant contg. a compd. of a bifunctional perfluoro-polyether of formula I, having terminal carboxyl groups and an amine and a long chain satd. fatty acid ester of the formula RCCOR' (II) is held in a protective film 3 as the outermost layer so as to maintain adhesion and lubricity. In the formula I, Rf1 is a perfluoro-polyether chain and R1-R4 are each H or a hydrocarbon group. In the formula II, R and R' each sepresents an alkyl group. |
