PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound and vibration generating device which is provided with a sound generating unit and a vibration generating unit housed in a casing and the main body of which can be supported with sufficient rigidity and has sufficient strength against exciting forces accompanying vibrations. SOLUTION: In a sound and vibration generating device 20, a casing is constituted by attaching a discoid bottom plate 12 to the opening of a cylindrical main body case 10. The bottom plate 12 is made of a sheet metal and provided with a disk section 12g, a cylindrical section 12h protruded from the outer peripheral edge of the section 12g in the axial direction, and a flange section 12i radially protruded from the end of the section 12g in the axial direction. The diaphragm 1 of the vibration generating unit 6 is fixed to the main body case 10 in such a state that the diaphragm 1 is held between the facing surfaces of the flange section 12i of the bottom plate 12 and the case 10.
