PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to automatically record a video of a monitor camera in one's absence without operating a switch of a video deck body by having switching between a TV signal and a CCD signal linked with a recording time set in one's absence. SOLUTION: A microcomputer part 200 turns on a power source when a timer 220 is set and a recording starting time comes. The microcomputer part 200 is inputted with signals torn a photo IC 130 and a pyroelectric sensor 120 and controls switches 235 and 236, a signal selection part 210 and a video deck 3. By a signal from the pyroelectric sensor 120, the switch 236 is turned on and the switch 236 is switched off when a specified time passes. Synchronized with this, a power source ON, a recording START, a recording STOP and a power source OFF of the video deck 3 are controlled. That is, if an absence expectation time is set as an automatic recording time in one's absence by the time 220, signal to be inputted to the video deck 3 is switched to a CCD signal during the recording time in one's absence and the switch of the video deck 3 body does not need to be switched.
