PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking tool for a portable telephone set that is easily locked to clothing or the like and provides excellent operating convenience in spite of a very simple configuration. SOLUTION: The locking tool is provided with an adhesive member 4 consisting of a double coated tape adhered to a portable telephone set or the like and with a clip main body 3 that has the adhesive member 4 at its rear side and that is formed by folding an elastic metal such as a stainless steel plate to be a shape clipped to clothing or the like. In the case of adhering the clip main body 3 to the portable telephone set via the adhesive member 4, an insertion end 3d of the clip main body 3 is folded to reduce a step difference from the portable telephone set due to the thickness of the adhesive member 4 and the clip main body 3.
