PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable or cleaning sheet to remove a proteinic dirt or other dirts by only lightly rubbing a contact lens on the sheet by incorporating a cleaning liq. in a fiber having affinity for protein. SOLUTION: The cleaning sheet for contact lens is prepared by incorporating a cleaning liq. in a fiber having affinity for protein. The quantity of the fiber having affinity for the protein to be used is >=5 wt.% based on the total amount of the fiber to be used, preferably >=10 wt.%, more preferably >=20 wt.%. The fiber having affinity to the protein is, for example, at least one kind selected from a fiber comprising a thermoplastic polymer, an ion exchangeable fiber, a protein fiber or a protein base polymer fiber (promix fiber). These fibers can be used alone or in combination of two or more kinds of the fibers.
