PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode which can reduce the parts cost, and shorten the time required for setup, and is easy of parts management, and in which the user never errors the parts to be mounted. SOLUTION: A terminal 6 led out of a light emitting part 5 is made elastic in the shape of a spiral having spring property. Or, the terminal 6 led out of the light emitting part 5 is made in the shape of a spiral having spring property, enabling the direction of the light emitting part 5 to be changed. Or, the terminal 6 led out of the light emitting part 4 is made elastic in the shape of a spiral having spring property, also enabling the direction of the light emitting part 5 to be changed.
