PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing a parking lot reducing managers by operating the managing task of a parking lot from a place other than a control center. SOLUTION: A parking lot is provided with a control center unit 100, entrance gate unit 200, exit gate unit 300, equipment 400, PHS terminal 500, portable information terminal 502, and PHS terminal 504 for guidance, etc. The control center unit 100 is constituted of a control computer 102, television monitor board 104, integral monitor board 106, and PHS private branch exchange 108. The control computer 102 generates monitor information based on the equipment information of each parking lot equipment collected and stored in a database 102A, and transmits the monitor information through a private PHS antenna 110 and the PHS private branch exchange 108 to the portable information terminal 502 connected with the PHS terminal 500. The portable information terminal 502 outputs the received monitor information.
