PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum circuit-breaker capable of greatly enhancing breaking performance. SOLUTION: The lower end of a lower supporting tube 8A made of alumina is brazed to the inside surface of a moving side end plate 23 of a vacuum valve, the lower end of an upper supporting tube 8B is brazed to the upper end of the lower supporting tube 8A to surround a fixed side electrode 3A and a moving side electrode 4A. A plurality of auxiliary electrodes 5 made of stainless steel are installed on the inner circumferential side of the upper supporting tube 8B through a supporting member 9 and a shield plate 10. The auxiliary electrodes 5 are assembled in a circuit breaker in the direction forming the outside of the vertex of a triangle when three vacuum valves are arranged in the triangle.
