<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a short circuit and to reduce reflected sound from a outside building wall by providing a three surface muffler panel surrounding an outdoor equipment main body and a gate shaped sound shield plate surrounding both sides and the upper surface of the main body. SOLUTION: A U-shaped muffler panel 10 erected so as to surround the outdoor equipment main body of an air conditioner 1 is constituted so that three surface panels 11, 12, 13 are connected in their corner parts. Respective surface panels 11, 12, 13 are provided with square frame bodies 15, 16, 17 combining mold members and a pair of insertion grooves 15a, 16a, 17a of a U-shaped section symmetrically provided on respective upper/lower sides of respective front sides. The sound shield plate 22 made of a rubber plate or a formed body of noninflammable synthetic resin, etc., is provided to the gate in contact with the upper surface 4 and both side surfaces 5, 6 of the main body 1 to be supported into a support or a groove 26 fixed to the frame body inner surfaces of the side surface panels. The sound shield plate 22 prevents a warm air flow emitted from a blow-out hole 2 from infiltrating to a main body rear surface 3, and prevents the short circuit in addition to prevent the reflected sound from the outside building wall.</p> |
