PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue a receipt by using the sheet without automatically cutting the print part of header data printed as preparation for the next transaction after a receipt is issued, or considering whether the print format of the receipt is a horizontal type or a vertical type. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 allows a printing device to print header data stored in a header data file 2-2 as preparation for the next transaction are printed at the leading part of a receipt sheet after the receipt is issued. Afterwards, when the issue of the receipt is instructed, whether the print format of the receipt is a vertical type or horizontal type is discriminated by referring to a receipt output format memory 2-4. When the print format of the receipt is a vertical type, the receipt constituting data are printed-out following the already printed header data, and when the print format is a horizontal type, half-cut is formed, and the header data are newly printed, and the receipt constitution data are printed-out.
