PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sold-out detecting switch with a built-in diode in which it is not necessary to provide an exterior diode, and a highly reliable and inexpensive sold-out detecting circuit equipped with this sold-out detecting switch in which it is simplify a wiring operation in a vending machine. SOLUTION: This detection switch 30 is provided with a case body 16, lever 11 projected to the outside part of the case body 16, spring mechanism 14 for energizing the lever 11, outside connection terminals 12 and 13, contact switch mechanism 15 for turning on and off a switch according to the push and release of the lever 11, and diode D' serially connected with the contact switch mechanism 15 inside the case body 16. The diode D' for preventing sneak path is protected from outside impact so that a reliable sold-out detecting circuit can be obtained. Also, a diode matrix circuit is used so that an inexpensive and highly reliable sold-out detecting circuit in which the number of wiring is reduced, and a wiring operation is simplified can be obtained.
