PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscopic device excellent in operability in which the mode of either video signal processor is switched to the same mode as the other video signal processor when the mode of the other video signal processor is switched. SOLUTION: The 1st and the 2nd video signal processors 4A and 4B connected to the CCDs 15A and 15B of an electronic endoscope 2 are connected to each other through a cable 17 so as to transfer a mode switching signal and a synchronizing signal in the case of signal processing. According to a discrimination signal for judging the connection to a light source device 3, an inside changeover switch is changed over and a mode changeover signal selected and set by either video signal processor is selected also by the other side, and the synchronizing signal on either side is fetched in the other side as an outside synchronizing signal so as to generate the synchronizing signal in synchronization therewith. Thus, troublesome operation is eliminated by constituting the processors 4A and 4B so that setting on either side can be held in common to the other side even when the mode of the processors 4A and 4B is not switched individually.
