PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve special functional limit, troubles in connection work, and the like even when the number of video display devices is increased in a large video display system. SOLUTION: Each of video display devices 1-n being arranged in matrix is provided with a function in which a position of a self device in matrix arrangement is automatically recognized and a function in which a video signal to be displayed by a self device is cut off, enlarged, and displayed without providing an exclusive video distributing device and a system control device. Thereby. video signals can have such constitution that video signals are supplied being connected in a chain state with a DG chain system for all video display devices, even when scale of a system is enlarged. an additional device may be only connected to a final stage device of a chain state connection. and a user can easily cope with it.
