摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which hardly gives rise to a defect phenomenon (a dimple defect) to disturb display. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device has a first space 10 composed of a liquid crystal display panel 1, a diffusion sheet 6 and a resin frame 12 and a second space 11 composed of a reflection sheet 7, a back sheet metal 3 and a resin frame 12. The device has such first and second spaces 10, 11, by which a wedge type light transmission plate 4 built into the liquid crystal display device crowns (bulges toward the liquid crystal display panel side) when the ambient temp. of the liquid crystal display device rises or when the device is placed under the environment of high temp. and high humidity but the so- called dimple defect hardly occurs.
