<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the design performance without consuming time for data transfer and deteriorating the readability of a page by inferring the contents of an image of a reference target from document data, determining an optimum substitutive image and storing substitutive image data to be used for the substitutive display of image data. SOLUTION: A document acquisition means 104 acquires hypertext data by using a communication control means 102 or a storage control means 103 in accordance with the reference target of specified hypertext data. A document analysis means 105 specifies the reference target of the hypertext data from an instruction received by an input control means 101 and analyzes the acquired hypertext data. A document allocation display means 106 generates display data based on the analyzed hypertext data and provides the generated display data to a user. An image information inference means 107 infers the contents of an image of the reference target from reference images in the analyzed document data and determines an optimum substitutive image. A substitutive image storing means 108 stores substitutive image data.</p> |
