PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an information transfer speed for recording/reproducing by a light in a near place without increasing a scanning speed. SOLUTION: The recording surface 1a of an optical disk 1 is provided with information areas 13 and tracking grooves 14 alternately arrayed to be extended in a disk peripheral direction T and a disk radial direction R. The information area 13 includes a plurality of information recording sections 15 arrayed in the disk radial direction R, each information recording section 15 being provided for recording/reproducing information by a light in a near place. In this case, while performing tracking by using the information area 13 and the tracking groove 14 as references, information recording/reproducing is carried out simultaneously by a light in the near place with respect to the plurality of information recording sections 15 included in the information area 13. |
