<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of utilizing a vertical fly-back period for information transmission at a maximum by transmitting/receiving information contained in the vertical fly-back period without omission. SOLUTION: A blanking encoder part 12 judges the signal pattern of signal of information to be transmitted while using the vertical fly-back period of an inputted video signal and discriminates the class of information. In the case of information having real-time property, such information is continuously transmitted as it is but in the case of information having no real-time property, such information is repeatedly transmitted while being thinned or only a signal showing the class of the signal pattern is transmitted by an encoding control part 11. At a decoding part, whether the information of vertical fly-back period in the video signal received by the blanking decoder part 21 shows continuous transmission or thinned transmission and the pattern are judged and information is reproduced corresponding to each class. In this case of thinned transmission, the same signal is repeatedly outputted from the memory while using a repeater part 22.</p> |
