<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the TTL value of IP header the same as the case of hop-by-hop transfer by discriminating whether or not processing for updating information showing the number of nodes, through which the packet has passed, contained in the packet is to be performed or not at each node in the case of performing label switching at the present node, and performing a prescribed notice according to the result. SOLUTION: Concerning this TTL processing, first of all, an interface to use for outputting and the contents of a general-purpose label header to be provided are determined while using stream information, which is obtained by referring to the header of a received layer 3 packet, as a key, and the general-purpose label header and a layer 2 header are provided, and a layer 2 frame is outputted from the prescribed output interface. At the node as the final step of LSP, after the header of the received layer 2 frame is processed, prescribed information is recognized, the general-purpose label header is removed, and after layer 3 processing is performed, the packet is outputted from the prescribed interface.</p> |
