PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a rotor position by a position sensor, suppress unnecessary operation of the rotor at the time of power input, and output a timing signal to the outside at the zero degree of an excitation phase. SOLUTION: This stepping motor 1, involving a position sensor 2, demodulates the position detecting signal outputted from the position sensor 2 by a demodulator 3 to input it into one inputting terminal of a microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 gives a minimum correction, to the demodulated position detecting signal, so that the zero degree of the excitation phase of the rotating field of the motor 1 and the position command signal inputted from the other inputting terminal of the microcomputer 4 may meet each other, thereby obtaining the excitation phase of the initial rotating field. The microcomputer 4 increase the excitation phase for every step angle by the position command signal, and supplies it as excitation current to the motor 1 through an amplifier 5. The microcomputer 4 outputs a timing signal 6 to the output every time the excitation phase meets zero degree. |
