PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave absorption belt for preventing a radiation leakage from electric wires/cables for electrically connecting wirings and equipment in electric and electronic equipment and preventing an electromagnetic wave interference to be received from another. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave absorption belt 10 comprises a lengthy strip-like foundation cloth having an electric resistance of 1.4Ω.cm and woven by carbon fibers 11 in which a fiber surface is formed roughly, a magnetic fluid 13 such as ferrite particles or the like coating the cloth, and a rubber layer 17 laminated on the cloth coated with the fluid 13 in such a manner that the band covers a surface of an article, an electric wire or the like for leaking an electromagnetic wave to convert a passing electromagnetic wave to Joule, heat to absorb it. Conductors 15 such as copper wires or the like are arranged at ends along a lengthwise direction of the band 10 to prevent occurrence of a static electricity.
