摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately stick a film by downward supporting the face plate surface of a cathode-ray tube, supporting a reinforcing film by applying a pressure sensitive adhesive to this surface in a noncontact state, and pressurizing/sticking the film to the face plate surface by a roller. SOLUTION: A pressure sensitive adhesive is applied to one surface, and a reinforcing film for covering an effective range of a face plate is cut in the specified size to be held by a sucking plate 12 in a position 15 of a left two-dot chain line. The adsorptive plate 12 is moved in the arrow 21 direction by a sticking roller traveling mechanism 14 to be made to travel up to a position shown by a continuous line so as to be positioned in a noncontact state on the face plate surface of a downward supported cathode-ray tube. Then, a sticking roller 13 is moved in the upward direction (22), the reinforcing film is pressurized to the face plate surface, and the sticking roller 13 is moved in the leftward direction (23) by the sticking roller traveling mechanism 14 so that the reinforcing film is stuck to the face plate surface.
