IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND ITS CLOCK CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the image forming device which processes image data by using frequency spread technology to perform excellent image formation by suppressing the generation of beat noise. SOLUTION: Video data (default data at the time of a black document) outputted from a CCD line sensor 405 when read operation is performed while a light source is turned off are equivalent to beat noise included in video data obtained when read operation is performed while the light source is turned on. Once beat noise data are stored, a correction memory 409 subtracts correction data stored in a correction data storage part 412 from video data read by a normal method while the light source is turned on to perform a correcting process for removing the beat noise. After the beat noise is thus removed, image formation is performed under the control of a printer control part 413 and then an image where no beat noise appears can be obtained as an output image.
