PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation or growth of air bubbles within light controllable glass by the expansion and shrinkage of the light controllable glass (more particularly a sealing material) of a light controllable glass structure used as door glass of, for example, a vehicle. SOLUTION: This light controllable glass structure has two sheets of glass 1A, 1B aligned to each other, an electrolyte 2 interposed between the glass 1A, 1B and the sealing material 3 for preventing the leakage of the electrolyte 2 to the outside by being interposed between the glass 1A, 1B over the entire circumference thereof. At the upper edge of the inside surface of one or both of the glass 1A, 1B is provided with air pockets 6A (6B) where the storage of air is possible.
