PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color sample which provides high precision at adjustment of color regeneration, with reduced work load. SOLUTION: This is a color sample wherein a luminous color band which is a reference for judging correctness of color regeneration characteristics for a color image display device is formed. Here, with a surface light-emission source and a color chart 4 provided, the surface light-emission source performs surface light-emission at a specified light-emission brightness and spectrum, the color chart 4 comprises a color filter band for light transmission at a specified spectrum, and the surface of the surface light-emission is superimposed on the filter band to form the light-emission color band.
