PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically bring a connector into pressure contact with an electric wire, even if electrode pitches of the connectors connected to both wire ends are different. SOLUTION: If templates 201, 202 are lowered relatively to wires 240 with plural electric wires arranged at equal intervals of a designated pitch P1, the plural electric wires are guided by guiding grooves of the templates 201, 202. Thereby, the area sandwiched between the templates 201, 202 is converted from the state shown in A where they are arranged at the pitch P1 to the state shown in D where they are formed in parallel with each other at a pitch P2. After this, they are cut, and are brought into pressure contact with connectors.
