PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability at the time of processing an image by receiving a command inputted from an application and supplying image data to the application in accordance with the command. SOLUTION: An e-mail application receives the input of image setting by a user (S1) and outputs the information to a control part through an API. The control part controls an image picking up part in accordance with the image setting. After that, when a user performs a capture command by operating a capture button at optional timing, the e-mail application synchronizes with the capture command operation and outputs shutter timing information to the control part through the API (S2). And, the control part synchronizes with the inputted shutter timing, captures image data inputted from the image pick up part (S3), processes the image data in accordance with the image setting and supplies it to the e-mail application (S4).
