PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding material for a building adapted to be used particularly for a glass or a wall by reducing a weight and a cost and improving mass productivity. SOLUTION: A pressure sensitive adhesive layer 11 (or an adhesive layer) is laminated on at least one side surface of a metal foil mesh 3a formed with a predetermined mesh pattern, and the electromagnetic wave shielding material 10 is laminated on a glass 20 via the layer 11. A metal foil is a light weight and a low cost and can be manufactured by a mass production. Since a rate of opening area of the pattern can be arbitrarily controlled, electromagnetic wave shielding properties and light transmission properties can be compatible. Thus, it is adapted to a glass for obtaining sufficient light transmission properties.
