PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method of a transformer or capacitor which can separate liquid PCB through easy operation, without touching the PCB and remove the PCB left in the transformer or capacitor wherein the PCB is removed with high efficiency. SOLUTION: A PCB is extracted first from the opening part of the transformer or capacitor using the PCB, its space part is filled with high-boiling point oil such as transformer oil, paraffin oil, and heavy oil, which is heated in vacuum in a heating furnace so as to vaporize and separate the high-boiling point oil accompanied by the PCB sticking on the transformer or capacitor. Or PCB-stuck internal components of the transformer or capacitor are put in a tank filled with high-boiling-point oil, and the tank is put in a heating furnace and heated in vacuum to vaporized and separated the high-boiling point oil accompanied by the PCB, thus removing the PCB from the internal components of the transformer or capacitor.
