PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for processing image with which it is evaluated whether a software error occurs or not and an image can be prevented from being degraded by the software error. SOLUTION: Image data are respectively simultaneously recorded into odd number of memories 3a-3c more than three at least. In the case of reading to the side of a transmission system 4, recorded contents in these three memories 3a-3c are mutually compared by majority and when there is no coincidence in image data, concerning these image data, the occurrence of software error is identified. Then, only the image data, to which the absence of software error is judged, are outputted. Thus, it is evaluated whether the software error occurs or not and the image can be prevented from being degraded by the software error.
