PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily designable a wire connection for connecting plural second substrates in a short time. SOLUTION: The substrate design device for properly connecting plural second substrates which are arranged on the first substrate is characterized by providing a node data storage means 1 storing node data which indicate the correspondence of parts mounted on the second substrates to a pin assignment, a connecting information storage means 2 storing pin assignment connecting data which indicate the correspondence of the connector of the first substrate connected to the pin assignment and a processing means 3 permitting the node name of the pin assignment which is the same as that of a node data file stored in the node data storage means 1, the pin assignment and the connector of the first substrate to correspond when the pin assignment exists in pin assignment connecting data which is stored in the connecting information storage means 2.
