PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate image-flowing in high temperature high humidity surroundings even when any transfer material is used, and to prevent drum fusion and stripes from being generated in all the circumstance. SOLUTION: In this image forming method, an electrostatic image is formed on an electrostatic charge image carrier 1, the electrostatic image is developed with toner 13 held in a developing means 4 to develop a toner image, the toner image on the carrier 1 is transfered to a transfer material P, and the toner image on the transfer material P is fixed by a fixing means 12. A surface layer of the carrier 1 contains (1) at least one kind out of polyarylate resins having 7.5×103-3.7×104 of weight-average molecular weight and having a specific constitutional unit, or polycarbonate resins having 7.5×103-3.7×104 of weight-average molecular weight and having a specific constitutional unit, and (2) fluororesin particles. The toner 13 contains toner particles, a first inorganic fine pulverulent body having 0.10 μm or less of number-average particle size, and the second inorganic fine pulverulent body having 0.12 μm-3.0 μm of number- average particle size. |
