PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To define optimal conditions of an thermal effect on a lighting circuit and miniaturization of an electric lamp type fluorescent lamp. SOLUTION: A partition 33 is mounted to a cover 14 having a base. The partition 33 is mounted with a light-emitting tube 18 constituted such that the outside diameter of the tube is 8-11 mm, the discharge path length is 200-300 mm, and it is lighted at lamp power of 7-15 W. The partition is also mounted with a lighting circuit 16 covered with the cover 14. An air thermal barrier V of 15-30 cm3 is formed between the light-emitting tube 18 and the lighting circuit 16 in the cover 14. If the volume of the air thermal barrier V is smaller than 15 cm3, a sufficient thermal insulating effect cannot be obtained, and if the volume is larger than 30 cm3, the lamp is too large. |
