摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fast detect synchronous chip timing of a multiple wave and to receive a spread spectrum signal even when the mobile station has a comparatively low speed and the Doppler frequency is set to a low level in particular by detecting the synchronous chip timing based on the composite delay profile that is obtained from every antenna. SOLUTION: A delay profile composing means 122 composes the delay profiles 91 to 9K which are obtained in the receiving systems 111 to 11K respectively and outputs a composite delay profile. A peak detection means 123 detects N pieces of peaks out of the composite delay profile and supplies the synchronous chip timing in common to the delay units 21 to 2N of systems 111 to 11K against those detected peaks. Thus, the units 21 to 2N delay the prescribed diffusion signals outputted from a diffusion code generator 6 based on the information on the synchronous chip timing, i.e., the output that is sent from the means 123. As a result, the diffusion codes are delayed by the units 21 to 2N and synchronized with the receiving signals.
