PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of a torque sensor device. SOLUTION: A torque sensor device is provided with a torque transmitting shaft 2 upon which torque is impressed, a supporting frame body 3 which rotatably supports the shaft 2, and two magnetically anisotropic sections (51 and 52) formed on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 2. The device is also provided with two detecting coils 41 and 42 which are arranged in such states that the anisotropic sections (51 and 52) are respectively loosely inserted into the coils 41 and 42 and detect the variation of magnetic permeability when the torque is impressed upon the shaft 2 and a magnetism focusing member 9 which shields the magnetic fields impressed upon the coils 41 and 42 from the outside of the device. The coils 41 and 42 are respectively laid in coil winding grooves 61 and 62 which are provided on the outside of the frame body 3 in such a way that the grooves 61 and 62 make one rounds around the shaft 2.
