PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-LAN connection device that can improve the reliability of path selection by taking a state of a network connection device not supporting a routing protocol into account in the case of deciding a metric for path selection. SOLUTION: An SNMP control section 2 analyzes received MIB and TRAP packets with a routing protocol to generate an MIB/TRAP information table 5. An MIB/TRAP information metric conversion section 3 converts data in the MIB/TRAP information table 5 into a routing metric value and reflects the result on a routing table 4. A routing control section 1 selects a path, based on the information of the routing table 4 on which the MIB/TRAP information is reflected.
