<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a toner and the toner excellent in low temperature fixability, offset resistance, storage stability, and fixing strength to a sheet such as paper. SOLUTION: This resin composition for a toner comprises a vinyl copolymer having a styrene monomer and a (metha)acrylate monomer as main components, Fischer-Tropsch wax, and a polystyrene block copolymer. The vinyl copolymer has the maximum peaks at least in a range of 5,000-20,000 of molecular weight and in a range of 500,000 or more of molecular weight, in a molecular weight distribution measured by gel permeation chromatography, 2-10 wt.% of the Fischer-Tropsch wax is contained in the composition, and 0.5-5 wt.% of the polystyrene block copolymer is contained. This toner of the present invention is prepared using the resin composition.</p> |
