<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility in the distance by giving a light source light to a low-beam reflection part while shutting off a travelling reflection part from the light source light when a movable hood is in a low-beam position and giving the light source light to the travelling reflection part while shutting off a part of the low-beam reflection part from the light source light when the movable hood is in the traveling position. SOLUTION: When a movable hood 4 is moved from a low-beam position to a traveling position P, light source light is brought to a traveling reflection part 5b covered by the movable hood 4, while an upper end part 5c generating lowermost directional beams, of a low-beam reflection part is covered. In this way, a traveling distributed light from a headlight 1 for a vehicle becomes a combination of reflected light from the part other than the upper end part 5c and reflected light from the traveling reflection part 5b. In the reflected light from the reflection part 5b in this time, a part formed of reflection light with a high degree of downward light is eliminated from the low-beam distributed light because of removal of the upper end part 5c, so that deterioration in visibility in the distance due to the traveling reflection part 5b can be prevented.</p> |
