PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store demodulated symbol data in a memory exactly corresponding to an error correction code(ECC) block even when slip occurs on a disk. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a sync detecting part 21 for inputting a bit stream and detecting frame sync and ID sync, frame sync number generating part 24 for correcting the frame sync and outputting its position information, ID error correcting part 22 for outputting an error corrected ID while using an ID parity contained in the symbol data, ID sync number detecting part 25 for inputting the error corrected ID and the said ID sync and outputting the position information of the ID in successive comparison with a sync frame structure, and address generating part 26 for generating the address of symbol data corresponding to the prescribed position of the ECC block and outputting it to the said memory.
