PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a characteristic for an electrophotographic photoreceptor, and to take an environmental problem and safety into account. SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on a conductive carrier, a thermoplastic resin is used for a resin for forming the photosensitive layer, the resin is dissolved in a solvent, materials for the photoreceptor are dissolved or dispersed into it to prepare an applying solution for the photoreceptor, and the solution is applied to be followed by drying, so as to prepare the photosensitive layer. At least alkyldiketone is used for the solvent in this electrophotographic photoreceptor, this is a process cartridge and this is an electrophotographic device of the present invention.
