FIELD: power engineering and electrical communications. SUBSTANCE: cable has at least two sub- areas of materials in cross-sectional area of which one is conductor and other, insulator; at least part of interface line of sectional area and/or at least part of interface line of conductor and/or insulator sub-areas is made in the form of fragment of oblique taper section of straight circular cone. Asymmetric arrangement of cable conductors in cross-sectional area of cable relative to its screen or longitudinal line is ensured to raise electrostatic characteristics due to individual geometry of cable sectional area. Such measures facilitate location of electricity transmitting line section between source and user as well as open circuit or ground fault.
