FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: thermal-insulating article is intended for use in construction engineering and also for thermal insulation of refrigerators, coolers, power engineering, production technological equipment, etc. Vacuum-type thermal-insulating article is made in the form of vacuumized flat housing in which base and cover of housing are provided with internal stiffening ribs resting on intermediate supporting member made in the form of load-bearing frame with screen spread over it. Intermediate load-bearing member is located between stiffening ribs of cover and base of housing. Stiffening ribs of housing cover are displaced with respect to stiffening ribs of housing base so that supporting points of stiffening ribs of cover are located between supporting points of stiffening ribs of housing body. The embodiment of vacuum-type thermal-insulating article ensures reduction of specific material-inputs and of cost of thermal insulation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 9 cl, 7 dwg
