FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at forming of hole and thread by means of screw made solid of stainless material. Screw has end section terminating in point, section of screw body provided with thread and section to which force is to be applied. End section providing pressure forming of hole is tapered to end. Screw is made, as a whole part, of stainless material. By turning the screw, hole in part is formed by pressure, after which threaded section of screw provides forming of thread. EFFECT: cutting down cost of screw designed for forming hole and thread. 6 cl, 2 dwg
