SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of acting upon surface of opening wall by means of ball whose diameter exceeds diameter of opening by value of expanding part along outer diameter; using punch with magnetic insert holding ball in order to provide rotation of ball being moved along opening. Spherical supporting washer may be arranged on end of punch. EFFECT: enhanced structure of surface layer of part opening wall, increased operational period of restored part. 2 cl, 2 dwg
