A container having a self-righting function to allow a proper amount of liquid to be taken out for use without leakage even if it is overturned, inverted, dropped, or strongly shaken and a kit suitable for filling liquid body into such a container, the container comprising a cover body (3) capable of closing an opening part (2) provided on the upper end side of a container main body (1), a take-out member (6) for taking out the content, and a cylindrical body (5) installed extendedly from the opening part (2) generally to the center part of the container main body (1), wherein a weight part (4) formed of a material larger in specific gravity than a material forming the container main body (1) is installed on the lower side of the container main body (1), the overturned container main body (1) is raised by the action of the weight part (4), a bar-shaped body having a coating part at the tip of it should be desirably provided on the cover body, the coating part (7) is immersed in the liquid body when the cover body (3) is threadably installed on the opening part (2) of the container main body (1), the weight part (4) may be a magnet, and the cover body (3) should desirably have a function capable of rising by itself even if it is overturned.
