Detecting acceleration in three dimensions of container or commodity during transport by storing values in memory to allow analysis of time, intensity and duration of shock

A measuring device is attached directly to the transport container or commodity. To determine the shock or vibration during transport, the acceleration values in three axes (1-3) are determined w.r.t. a threshold and displayed (5a,b). Values exceeding the threshold are stored in the memory (7) and are used to check the time, intensity and duration of the shock. An apparatus is also claimed.
